For no big reason but lots of small reasons I'm making and drawing coins lately. The coins are between 2 and 4" in diameter, high fire stoneware or porcelain. The drawings are 3-4' in diameter, pencil and ink on paper.
I've been carving coins for 20 years, mostly as a private practice to commemorate change. These past few years have been such a whirlwind it just seemed like the perfect time to finally try to flesh out a body of these.
